i'm obsessed with pears

craftgrrla few months ago someone posted a link to a bag at karmaloop.com w/ felt blueberry appliques so i decided to make my own.
now, this bag is the best thing i've made so far. and the most annoying as well. i don't think it's any coincidence that this is also the first thing i've made using a pattern. i had to get a friend to help me interpret the pattern's instructions. i don't think swedish was adequately translated to english. it is approximately 14" x 9". the fabric is a super dark denim. the pear detail is my own - cut from felt and appliqued on. there is also a super swell pear fabric for the lining, which you'll never see.
this photo is most accurate as far as color of the denim and the pear goes. at least it is on my monitor.
