The bands are grosgrain ribbon. The hearts are actual candy conversation hearts. You wouldn't think they'd withstand hotglue, but they did. Scary, huh? The bracelets are fastended with velcro. I didn't cover the candy with any protectant because I don't expect these to be worn more than a day. I made a whole mess of the white ones for my girlfriends and a few of the black ones for some guy friends who might be willing to humour me. We'll see! Happy Valentine's Day everybody!
