Plushies.

I'm planning on making a doll (not a Barbie-like doll, but a plush one) of Ragetti, the one-eyed pirate from 'Pirates of the Caribbean', simply because I'll soon have a bit of time on my hands and want something to do.

I want it to look something like the doll in this picture (you may have to copy and paste the address... oh, drawing by the lovely artist, [livejournal.com profile] bri_chan ). I don't want a rigid and lumpy doll, I want a soft cuddly plushie, heh. What's a good way to go about doing that? Should I cut out two gingerbread man shapes and sew them together? Or should I make the legs, arms, and torso and head seperately and then sew them together?

Thanks in advance.
