Oh my darling craft girls (and gents)! I need some ideas cause I'm bone dry.

One of my very very best male friends moved all the way across the country from Los Angeles to Florida after graduating college. He works nights as a news producer, and sleeps during the day. He knows no one out there, and can't really meet people due to his schedule. He is a hilarious man. Very smart and funny, well read, likes baths and movies, loves music (Jason Mraz, Glen Phillips and Toad, Wesley Willis, RANDOM stuff), and had his heart broken very badly right before he moved, just like I did...

Anyhoo, I want to send him a kind of cheer up care package thingy. We talk for 3-6 hours just about every other weekend, but I haven't seen him since June and I can't get out to FL till April or May. I want to send him things that let him know I'm thinking of him, and that will amuse him in his loneliness. It also needs to be stuff that will be easily shippable (is that a word?) and cheap since I'm ass broke right now.

Oh yeah, and I'm totally falling in love with him but can't tell him yet. *sigh*

SO! I am calling on you wonderful people to help me out with some ideas for my dear friend. Thank y'all so very very much in advance. I heart this community. :)
