made this using a pattern for a shirt which i extended and flared to make it a dress. redid the neckline as an afterthought to make it a snap-button keyhole (the pattern was sort of a mock turtleneck. all hand stiched, cuz i don't have a sewing machine. it didn't actually take that long, even though it has six seams. it's really stretchy, so there's no zipper or anything. the material is ...burnout velvet, i guess. anyway. something like crushed velvet with blank bits to make it a floral pattern. it's grey but shines sorta iridescent with many colors. looks better in person, too. so yeah. cool. unfortunately it's winter and i have to cover most of it up with a cardigan to wear it. dang.
