Jan. 30th, 2004 06:10 pmFor my AP English class, we have 3 projects to complete for our reading of Henry IV: Part One: a paper, a speech memorization and explanation, and an art project of our choosing. Today I decided that since I'm into making jewelry and beading, that I would make an accessory for some of the main characters of the play.

I already know that for Sir John Falstaff, I'm going to make his "grandfather's seal ring", as described in Act III Scene III, but does anyone have an ideas on how to do this? I'm thinking of getting a cheap ring base, adhering a rubber stamp with an F for Falstaff, and painting the whole thing copper. Does it seem like there'd be a better way to do this? I don't know how to weld or anything more complicated than making basic jewelry and painting, really.
