[identity profile] angelicate.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
I started making my first quilt earlier this week and finished it up tonight. It's the size of a baby or child's blanket.

The back is plain white, and too sheer. =\

Close up of the fabrics and tacking.

I slip-stitched the end shut. The last time I did this was in 9th grade, 10 years ago. I can't believe I remembered how.

All in all, for a first project, it turned out fine. I've already got another front cut out and partially sewn together. I'm not using white for the back, so you won't be able to see through that one.
