i'm not sure how literal the "grrl" is in craftgrrl, but i hope you all don't mind the testosterone..

here's a book i made for the boyfriend for valentines out of a shopping bag.. it's on its way to scotland.




i used a crumpled old shopping bag, double-layered white card stock, upholstery thread and "tacky" glue.

















i went with the easiest binding method i could find since i was too afraid to tackle anything difficult for my first book.

there were some obvious mistakes, but i'm playing on the chance that he'll be too overwhelmed by the effort to notice them. :)
