i asked the question before about preserving conversation hearts, and thought i'd show off how my earrings turned out:



i actually used a spray liquid clear coat fixative, which did not run the ink or melt the candies. i secured the pins inside of the hearts by whittling out a little groove in the back of each heart and gluing them in place.
