12hr Pirate Costume?
Feb. 19th, 2004 11:19 pmHELP!
At very short notice, I've been invited along to a pirate-themed event and need to make a costume in a night :/ I was thinking of going as a bar wench sort of, as I have a skirt which should be servicable with a petticoat or slip underneath, but any suggestions on what I could do for the rest of the costume? :/ I don't have a sewing machine so it will have to be hand sewn... :/
Also, am not sure if it is alright to post this sort of question here, but if it's not, please just point me in the direction of the right place to ask?
***EDIT
Okay, so majority of the costume will look dodgy, but piratey. Just one final question though, regarding the waistline. What should I do to make the waistline more, well, piratey? A big puffy shirt won't be able to be tucked in well due to the skirt being pretty tight around the waist...
