Yep. I did it.

Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] devila.


I free-handed the lettering with fabric paint and stenciled the hook. The lettering is a lot more straight than it looks here, but even after ironing the soul out of this bag, there are still some annoying wrinkles.


Here is a peek-a-boo view of the inside pocket. There are different widths of hook holders plus a big pocket for other notions.


Here is the whole inner pocket. It's messy cuz I didn't really know what I was doing. I used a wierd color of thread because I had a lot of it. It was very hard to sew it directly onto the inside of the bag. I kept sewing the bag to itself.


This is my prototype which I will keep for my own personal use. I have another bag stenciled, but I am going to use a slightly different method for the inside pocket. I'm going to sew the pocket to another piece of fabric and then attach the whole thing just by sewing around the edges of that piece. That bag is gonna be a birthday present for my cousin who got me turned on to crochet in the first place.
