Elmo T-shirt
Mar. 2nd, 2004 08:27 pmJust before Christmas,I saw these cute Elmo & Cookie monster T-shirts.I thought my wee wart would love them but $17.00 is a bit steep in my opinion for a child`s T-shirt(especially when we were broke) so I figured I could make them myself.
I bought plain red and blue T-shirts from ebay. I would have gone thrift store hunting but I didn`t have any time or transportation so ebay was what I had to work with. The red T-shirt was like 99 cents and the blue one I got for $1.50.(They were both Baby Gap,btw)
Here`s the Elmo T-shirt:

I didn`t have any white fabric paint so I ended up using "Icy Sparkles" fabric paint.
The Cookie Monster T-shirt needs to have his eyes retouched.I think I put the fabric paint on too thick and they stuck to each other in the wash and peeled a bit.
