sun catchers

does anyone remember the oldschool sun catchers that you melted in the oven? the ones where you'd drop the little colored plastic bits into the metal frame, put them in the oven and they'd melt and harden into transparent plastic? do you know where i can get that stuff? i've checked out michael's & a couple other places, but i can only find the newschool version where you paint plastic that is already in the metal frame (actually, i think the frames are even plastic on them).

i found an old frame of a robot but most of the transparent plastic parts have broken out and i want to redo it. thanks in advance for any & all comments. ;)
