Ironing vinyl fabric?
Mar. 10th, 2004 01:47 pmI've looked through the FAQ, and if there was anything in it, I missed it.
I have some thick vinyl that is backed with a sort of fuzzy fabric. Its wrinkled from being folded. I'd like to make a purse out of it, but I can't do that before I unwrinkle it.
It looks like the backing is synthetic, maybe polyester.
So how do I get the wrinkles out? I was going to try ironing the back side with a towel inbetween the fabric and the backing, but I thought I'd ask if anyone *knew* what to do before I go melting things.
Suggestions? Expert advice?
