umm, i need some help...with altering clothes. dresses, to be precise.

i have 3 dresses that i want to alter...
the first one is slightly too big on the bust and across the back, it does up with a zip in the back
the second one is too big for me in the bust and waist and is just a pull-on style
and the last one is too big for me in the bust and waist and it does up with a zip at the side

i keep trying them on to decide how to alter them, but just get annoyed, coz i don't know what to do :\

can anyone help at all? either comment here or email me...or add me to msn? popplepantz @ hotmail.com. oh, and i can get photos of the dresses tomorrow, if anyone can help me...
