as a joke, i made a stuffed dinosaur for my boy and a pink one for myself- they turned out better than expected. i made the pattern up as i went along, and they're about the size of a regular pillow, perfect for snuggling with- especially if you live in the bay area and your loved one lives in washington.

also, my boy is getting in touch with his crafty side...babysteps, babysteps...he made me "mars flowers" its one of our jokes- i wanted to know what flowers on mars would look like, so he made me some. he said that he bought a "bouquet" of tootsie-pops and cut the wrapper so that it resembled leaves and attached a sweet note. he was mighty pleased with his craftiness, "i can make stuff too, you know." uhhuh.
