I'm not a very good knitter, but I've recently (as in.. Last week) learned two new things- knitting ribs and knitting in the round (with 5 needles).

I just made a pair of socks. The heel was a tough one, but I think I got it right somehow. Looks a little odd, but will probably look better after I've used the sock and washed it. Regardless, I'm pretty damn proud.








The pictures don't explain this very well, but when I came down to the foot itself, after knitting the heel, I've knitted so that the sole is knitted with ordinary stitches. They're just flat, but the top of the foot is knitted with ribs.

Sorry for the lousy explanations, I don't really know the knitting terminology in English.
