Okay, I've been lurking for a long time and I finally decided to post some stuff I've been doing...

I started playing with beads a few years ago because for some reason, sewing together many many many tiny things puts me in a zen-like relaxation state. Bracelets, mainly, but yesterday I was fiddling around and somehow ended up with a ring that doesn't suck. I mean, I've tried making rings before but they were all sortof... blah... but I finished the pink one and people were dropping everything to say "whoa! do you sell those?" so I guess I have something... meaning I had to figure out what exactly I did... :)

here's the first one I did:

the second is okay. I love the colors but I wonder if the middle bit sticks up funny...

and the best one so far, IMHO... It's actually cobalt blue IRL, looks more purple in the pic...

this is a bracelet I finished last week before my little RingFest2004 began... feels SO NICE on, like chain, and glitters in the light...

pardon my cracked and chapped hands, I was doing serious remodelling on my new office all week... I am SO in need of a manicure... maybe if I decide to sell these... but I've never even tried to sell my jewelry before... don't know where to start...
