Apr. 5th, 2004 04:57 pmhi there. after a little hang up with a terrible "learn to crochet" kit (i wrote a review for you gals a few weeks ago) i finally finished my first crochet project. indeed. just rows and rows of single and double and triple crochet repeated, no pattern. i used an "h" size hook, so it's quite a bit more dense than i would have liked, but i'll know better next time, won't i?! i still need to weave in the ends of yarn where i changed colors and i suppose block it (how's that go again?) so that it won't be so... lumpy...? any suggestions concerning that are encouraged and will be appreciated! the point here is that it's a baby afghan (or play mat) for my baby due at the end of july and was inspired by the fact that i've been craving neapolitan icecream since her conception i think.
