It is in six rows right now and I have a bunch of pieces cut for a border which are still in pieces.
I don't think it's too bad for my first quilt, but it's not all that great either. I started by using fabric I had laying around at my old house and now, a year later, discovered I lost some of the pieces I had cut. This meant I had to abandon my original plan and only use stuff I took with me to my new house, otherwise I would have just used not having my original fabric pieces as an excuse to let it sit.
So, it may not be perfect, and I don't know what I'll do with it yet when I'm done, but it feels good to be working on it again.
By the way, I started making it after marveling at a book a friend of mine leant me called Liberated Quiltmaking. If you're thinking about making a quilt, but don't want to go through all the traditional rigamarole, check it out if you ever get a chance because it's really inspiring.
