I've rekindled my love for sewing. What was the fate of these polka dots?






...and to be paired with some ribbon...


...and then turned into my Easter skirt!

It sits at my natural waist, which is fine, and it needs to be ironed, which is also fine. I made it using McCall's pattern #4306(A) and added the ribbon and bow. It was one of those "walk through Hobby Lobby, see adorable polka dots, have vision of skirt, realize I have no knowledge of skirts, frantically search for pattern, pay and leave, forget zipper and hook & eye, go back, leave, realize I bought a freaking 22 inch zipper when I needed a 7 inch, go back again, and put it all together at home without a problem" sort of project.

I'm off to go buy the perfect shirt now...
