some random crafty stuff.

the body portion of a bag i crocheted. the fulling process wasn't 100% successful, i probably could have let it go for another spin in the washer, but it was getting a bit too skinny, so i took it out and blocked it on some old yearbooks. now i just need to find something to fashion handles out of and i plan to add little felt creatures or ribbon and sparkly things. haven't decided yet. oh and to shave or not to shave, that is the question.

    



my first plied yarn. i just used random colourful fiber that i got at a local shop. i should really start paying attention to what it is that i'm buying, since i can't really say what this is... some kind of wool. heh. i also got some mohair and merino and some locks and sparkly stuff and random things to try spinning in.

    



i had some random felt i've never used, little jars of sequins i got at a rummage sale and finally got around to using my thriftshop sweater unravelled koolaid dyed yarn and winged a hat'ish creature. though i don't know how you can wear these type of things with hair since it pokes out... or at least mine does.

    



...and tragedy struck. i am a klutz and slipped down some stairs and injured my shoulder... now i can't be crafty! eep! no knitting, no crocheting, no spinning, no sewing, nothing, not even photo'ing! it's horrrrrrid. so, be careful out there and don't be a klutz like me or you will be bored out of your mind unable to craft. :( :( :( :( :(
