making a skirt bigger

I bought this awesome skirt at Value Village and it's way too small on me (in the waist). I want to keep it as a skirt - I do not want to alter it into a shirt or a bag or anything - and I was wondering what I'd have to make it bigger while somewhat retaining the pattern. It's 70% wool, 30% polyamid & the stripes are brown and cream (I'm sorry for the quality of the picture, but my digicam ran out of batteries yesterday and I can't find anymore batteries in my house).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
