Alternative Easter "Basket"

I've gotten tired of putting Easter presents into baskets I just know the recipients will not use, so this year I thought I'd use little Chinese food take out gift containers. Trouble is, I ran out of them and discovered that my local craft and party supply stores only carry them for Valentine's Day and Christmas. *gasp*

I decided to buy plain gift boxes and hoped my creativity would kick in. Here's what I came up with...


A gift bunny box!!!



I cut ears out of the lid, pasted pink paper onto them, then used buttons for eyes. The nose is actually a pink cosmetics sponge, cut into a rounded triangle. Sharpie pen marks make the mouth.



And the back...

Cotton ball bum

I filled the box with Easter grass and an assortment of goodies.
