My parents go out of town for one week and look what I turn the family room into...





I'm glad they left because I was able to get this far on the quilt I'm trying to finish for Mother's Day (without her seeing!). They come back tonight though, so I really have to get crackin'...It's sooo close to being done.

You don't even want to see what's beyond that picture to the lower right side. I'm trying my hand at my own ghetto version of silk screening (i.e. nylons, cheap-o embroidery hoop, and some Elmer's) thrown about with my stacks of books, homework, and newspapers.

I just needed a mental pause and felt like sharing what my day will be filled with: more sewing and LOTS of cleaning.
