Stockings

I didn't see anything about this in the FAQ, but what can I do with old stockings? I always get runs in my stockings, so I only buy the cheap ones (even the expensive kinds only last me generally between two and five wears, so I try to save a little cash), but that means I have tons of stockings laying around with runs in them. Surely there's something I can do with them.
