May. 3rd, 2004 11:03 amMy fabric paint screwed me.
is the paint I used. On the back the instructions say to steam it on the iron's wool setting to set it. I steamed it.

is what happened to my wonderful "Don't do bugs" shirt that was my first actual paid order. I am so upset that I have to go out and buy another shirt and do it all again and definitely make no profit since I said the price was only $10. Crap. Ozzy's head looks like shit. I steamed the rest of it (lettering, ants) and it didn't do that--same with another shirt I made that was just lettering, it was fine.
Well, two "silk screening" questions then...
I used an embroidery hoop and old pantyhose, but what's a good glue to use for the negative space? I used Elmer's only to realize when I was rinsing the paint, "hey, this glue is water soluble."
And, what fabric paint won't do what this just did? Is there some secret trick to creating beautiful shirts that I just can't grasp?
Help.
