hmmmmm 45's?

I was looking through the memories to show my boyfriend what a record bowl looked like, and he asked if a record bowl could be made into a ashtray, i said of course, then i had the idea of using an old 45 record, but.. he brought up a very valuble point. What about the monstous hole that 45's have? I looked in the memories yet again, and couldn't find anything. Does any one have any good ideas? I mean we could still make a large ashtray for his coffee, but little ones are just as convenient. anyone help?
