My Halloween Costume

craftgrrlOkay, so my question isn't really craft-related, BUT:
I'm planning on dressing up as the powerpuff girl Buttercup for halloween(the one with the green dress an black hair). While this is contingent upon me finishing the black corset and green dress, I have no idea how to make my hair fit the costume. My hair is about shoulder length(the right length if I make the ends do the flippy thing) and brownish at the moment. I'm willing to dye it, but not anything that it will be imperitive to bleach out - like black dye. Anyone have any creative suggestions? I was considering dying it purple the night before and hoping it looked dark, but there's got to be a better way. Thanks!
