May. 9th, 2004 11:34 pmWooo!
I finally finished this bag that I have been putting off for nearly a month now. Brocade is a bit more difficult to work with that I had expected, so I backed off a little and it took longer to get done. My friend wanted to me to make her a big purse to hold the world in, and she wanted it to look like it came from India. I found this brocade on sale, and it reminded me of a sahri (sp?) so I thought it was perfect.

The brocade is a turquois, with dark blue and red flowers on it outlined in gold and green. It has a dark blue broadcloth lining, and closes with a red toggle.
