Hi - new here...

I'm a very crafty person... mainly I work with polymer clay and silk dyeing, but I dabble in lots of stuff. I'm already enjoying reading the posts and comments here, and have tossed in my .02 a couple times. I'll post some of my latest stuff soon, and look forward to really learning a lot here.

I do have one question, and would love advice. I want to use the silk I dye to quilt and embellish for wall hangings. Does anyone have any experience with sewing silk? I've not tried it yet, because I've heard it's hard to do. I mainly use crepe de chine. Ideas? Suggestions?
