This is what I made my mom for mothers day.
I bought a basic clay pot and painted it blue. I then took toothpicks and dunked them in different colored paint and put designs over the blue...after it dried. I made clouds, swirlies, suns, flowers...etc.
I then made her 8 different colored beaded flowers. I made them mini sized.
I took a foam egg that I had bought from the craft store, a styrofoam one and painted it green. After it dried, which took FOREVER, I glued it inside the pot. I then covered it with some fake grass I had laying around.
The beaded flowers are made from seed beads and whatever circle beads I had laying around.
Everyone loved it. Even if you can't see it too well in the pictures, it turned out so pretty
I made it for her because every year I get her flowers and every year she kills them. So this year I made her flowers she cannot kill.
