hey--just letting all you folks in Atlanta//GA know that a new pottery painting studio has
opened up in Lawrenceville!! It's located at Discover Mills Mall (off of Sugarloaf Pkwy) and
its called "The Painting Potter". I got to meet the owner the other day and she is
awesome!! Her and her boyfriend decided to open the studio together and theire prices
are the cheapest I've seen so far (i used to go to Wired N Fired in VaHi, but they just get
sooo prciey!). Anyway--her pottery has one set price--and that includes
-paints
-firing
-glazing
-time
(she DOESN'T charge by the hour!!!)
There is a grand opening this SATURDAY (Nov. 2, 2002) from noon-4:oo pm with food
and music and fun stuff!!! If you'd like to attend, directions are simple :
take 85-NORTH to SUGARLOAF PKWY (pass 285, pass Pleasant Hill Rd. exit...)
get off and you'll see the mall (DISCOVER MILLS) ahead on your left.
Park and enter near the ESPN SKATEPARK and the Painting Potter in ahead next to the
skatepark on your left. See you there
