craftgrrlJust thought I'd share my first skirt & my old doll house (furniture made from scrap materials).
Most of the furniture were old boxes (wedding cake favour boxes, toy boxes, etc) cut up & painted.
One of the coffee tables is one of those plastic tripods you find in the middle of your delivered pizza boxes & old toilet rolls covered in felt became the sofa.
The piece I'm most proud of is the aquarium made from an old mint box (like Tic-Tac), where I stuck fish shapes, weeds & tiny stones. Tweezers are a god-send.
My pink corduroy skirt made in an afternoon. Elastic waist band to allow for 'equatorial growing'. Total cost S$12 (about US$8-9).
