potty monsters
May. 22nd, 2004 01:14 pmokay, so i finally have my own bathroom for the first time in my life.
and when thinking of the new bathroom and decorating possibilities, i remembered look who's talking, too when mikey is getting potty trained and his friend tells him about the potty monster who eats all the pee-pee.
and now i really really really want a potty monster themed bathroom, and i've already decided on blue and whatnot, but the question being:
how would i stick fur (the kind you can buy at walmart or something) to a plastic toothbrush holder/toilet brush holder/trashcan/etc and have it not warp off with the steam from the bathroom?
also, has anyone ever hand-stiched with fur? i don't have a sewing machine, and will therefore being sewing a big monster to a shower curtain (not liner) and is this going to be too hard by hand? i could always paint.
and, lastly, does anyone think the fur will get mildewy? i'm pretty good about letting bathrooms air out and cleaning them. i would just hate it if i did all of it, and then the fur got all disgusting.
