May. 22nd, 2004 04:02 pmHi everyone!
I'm working on crafting some stepping stones (pre-molded stone [cement] circles) for my front lawn and I would like to put some Asian lettering on them.
I'm sort-of clueless as to how to go about this tho.
I have considered printing out the words and then cutting stencils but all the supplies required are going to stretch my budget slightly further then I had planned.
Another idea that came to mind was printing out the words and going over them with a heavy weight lead pencil and then putting it face down on the stones and going over the back with a pencil to sort-of transfer it. And then painting them with patio paint.
Has anyone tried anything of this nature onto stone? Or would happen to have a better suggestion for me? Freehand is really not an option as I really suck and drawing.
Thanks in advance!
Valerie
