May. 24th, 2004 08:57 pmI graduated college a little over a week ago and I wanted to make some thank you cards for a few of my favorite teachers. (Especially now that I can't be accused of brown-nosing!)
I used acrylic paint and a sharpie marker on a sheet of cardstock folded in half and cut into a square. I looked at the words "Thank You!" for so long this afternoon while I was playing with fonts to see what might look good on these that the words didn't seem to make sense anymore.

The one in hiragana is for my Japanese professor - it spells "arigatou." :D
I need to buy/make envelopes for them that are not square, because for whatever reason the (American) post office charges more to send square envelopes. Does anyone know if *size* makes postage cost more at all? (Like, if I send them in one of those 5"x7" sized yellow envelopes meant for documents?)
