SO today I took a trip to the new Jo-Anns. They had a bunch of soap crafting stuff on sale. I've been wanting to try it out, so I bought some goodies.

1.) Two molds
2.) Shea Butter
3.) Soap Dye
4.) Melon Berry Fragrance Oil
5.)Moisturizing Gylcerine Soap

I have a couple questions though. Can the same oil that is used to scent candles and such, be used for scenting soap? The Fragrance oil I picked up at Jo-Anns just doesn't smell too hot. So far, I've had better luck getting fragrance oil from Wal*Mart, as opposed to craft stores.

Secondly, is it a good idea to add shea butter to the soap block I have?
