First post: repairing a shredding bag...

Hey, all. This is my first post, so hello! Here's my problem: I have a woven(?) sort of over-the-shoulder bag that I dearly love, and love to use. So much so, that the inner part of the strap where I most frequently grab has started to fray.








Any suggestions on how I can repair this? Thanks!
