coffee stained coffee table.

i was browsing through the most recent issue of readymade magazine and there was an article on how to spruce up a coffee table w/ real coffee stains. i tried it with my own coffee table and i'm very happy with the results. it was very easy to do. all you need is a table of your choice, sand it down w/ sandpaper, paint it with gesso, wait til it dries then put some coffee in a bowl, dip your cups in the coffee and stamp the table away. you can be as messy as you want and blot it down or leave little puddles of coffee for more contrast.
