i thought id contribute something productive and give you some info about crimp beads!




put on 2 crimps (for security purposes...one if you're not worried about the piece)


add your clasp/dangle/whatever to be attached


pass the tail of the wire back through the crimps


pull the wire tight so that there is a .25inch loop for the attachment to move around in and smash the crimps down with pliers. I prefer to use an actual crimping tool, but you can use flatnose pliers if you want.


cut the little tail of wire with cutters or nail clippers. tada!

when you do the opposite end of the piece, leave a .25inch space between the crimps and the beads on the piece so your beads have room to "breathe".
