puppy coat/sweater

my roomates got a chihuahua puppy named pip last week and even though its june he needs a sweater or coat. we have air conditioners in every room of the house and he's very small. here's a picture of him next to my roomate's foot just to give you an idea:


so the point is.. does anyone know of a good (easily adjustable) pattern for a puppy coat or sweater? a sweater would be best but i would appreciate any help. thanks.

oh i noticed a lot of people asking where to get tote bags and tshirts for cheap lately. i get this catalog in the mail http://www.orientaltrading.com/otcweb/application?namespace=main and i thought it might be helpful.
