I need to get ahold of some Butcher's Wax in order to do this project I read about in Martha Stewart Living. I'm making knitting needles for a friend and the Butcher's Wax is required to make the yarn move freely on the wooden dowel. Anyone have any thoughts on where to get this stuff (especially in Seattle) or have some they don't need? It's a brand of wood wax (I think from carnuba), and I can't seem to find it around here. I did find it online, but for a high price.
