craftgrrl | pipsicle - the sweater

well after posting here and getting a lot of great responses (thanks you guys) i decided that i would just try to freehand a sweater for pip. i copied a dog sweater that my roomate had which was for a much bigger dog and it was a little bit different but my sweater came out even better than the one i copied. the sweater i was copying had no chest coverage at all so i added that strip going from his neck to his belly myself. i think it makes a big difference in how warm the sweater will keep him.

i don't have a pattern for it at all. i just kept crocheting, trying it on him, estimating, and just totally did it on the fly. i plan on making a bunch more for him in all different colors. :)
next time i'll write a pattern while i'm making it but it really is just trial and error.
