I need your opinions

A few people from LJ have asked me to make them a kitty hat (based on this pattern). Which I'm happy to do. I've made the hat by the pattern, and I've made a few adjustments to it to "make it mine."


I know that this certainly isn't an original design, but I am putting hard work into making these babies.

I need help deciding how much to charge for them. Like I said, it's not an original pattern, so I'm more the seamstress than the designer, if you catch my drift.

Each person chooses their own yarn or color. If I have what they'd like I'll take it out of my stash. If not I'll buy it. I need to include an approximate cost of the yarn as well as the time spent making them. Usually a hat takes me a couple of days of work.

I am cross posting this in my journal as well as in craftgrrl so some of you that requested a hat may be reading this too. I'd love to get your input. I don't want to turn you off from buying the hats from me, but I want to be paid properly for my work.
