i decided to be random and do something to my vanity to make it look better. i started with white spray paint, then painted the shelves pink, mod podged magazine pictures to the top shelf. put thick polka dot ribbon along the mirror side with hot glue (not the best idea, the hot glue shows through the ribbon), put wired beads on the sides, hot glued lace to the top..and

i also found out from my mom that this vanity was hers when she was really young...i just remember my sister using it a long time ago.
