Jun. 25th, 2004 09:32 pmi had this 1920s jacket-type shirt (like, it was a lightweight tunic-style shirt that buttoned up the right side like a peacoat) made of really neat textured satin that i've never seen anything else made of. since i'm cleaning out my closet for my upcoming move, i decided to experiment with it a little. i was in a girly mood with a lot of leftover material, and this:

was the result. you can't really see the white tulle peeking out from beneath the hem, which is unfortunate because it's pretty darling. i like it because it's kinda girly but a little bit edgy at the same time. of course since it has lace and tulle i'm automatically in love. and haha, for those of you who are like OH LACE AND TULLE HOW ORIGINAL NOT... go make a conor stencil or something. <3
