warning: 8 largeish pictures under cut[s]
Jun. 26th, 2004 02:53 amhere's some cards i made:

robot card #1- it says "we foresee a Saturn in your future..." (and on the inside it says) "and a thank you card." the robot has the Saturn uniform on, and the phrase is kind of a joke.. i'd elaborate but i dont think anyone cares lol. i made it for my dad's boss because he gave my family a 100$ gift certificate for no apparent reason, so it was the least we could do, and im the crafty one in the family, heh.

robot card #2- a baby robot holding flowers behind him. if you're curious, the tag blurred by the flash says "special delivery 06/18/2004 ms. jennifer o'gorman".
and my attempts at screen printing, although i was just testing on an old shirt... (thanks to
girlx512 for her tutorial)

testing different inks, like i said. the one on the right is supposed to be a robot's head, although it's sideways... and it was a dye and obviously didnt work.

left: the paint that worked better than the evil dye
right: the evil dye

i tried the robot head again with the nice paint and you can see how much cleaner it came out.

a bigger design... although i gotta tweak the stencil a little, since i got some spots in unwanted places and uneven sides.

and that's it. this weekend i'll hopefully make a FINAL print with the big design on a shirt.
i'm currently making a 3D anthill [as realistic as i can] with a huge ant [made with golf balls] trying to crawl in it... i'm praying that it comes out right.
