I have a very old Singer, probably a model from the 60s or 70s, that up until now has worked fine. Today I sit down to sew my boyfriend some curtains and *wham* it fucking sucks.
This is the front, the stitch on the left is a tighter stitch, the one on the right slightly looser:

Alright, that looks good and normal, sure.
But here's the back, in all of it's messed up glory:

What's going on? Does anyone have any clue how to fix it? Oh, and this isn't the material for my boyfriend's curtains, haha.
