hey hey. i'm Peta. i'm not new, i've been lurking for awhile but i've never posted anything before.

but anyways i just thought i'd post this because i'm quite proud of it.

I'm a fashion student and as an assignment we had to make a garment out of old jeans using the theme of music legends.




my music legend was gwen stefani.

my sewing skills aren't the best so for the skirt i pretty much much just did some unpicking and cut off the waistband and did some more cutting and re-sewing.

i made a stencil of gwen and painted that onto the skirt.

i'm sorry i don't have a photo of the back view, my teacher currently has the garment (she's marking it), but its held together at the back by two waistbands and some buttons.
